As the use of drones continues to climb, ACC is working closely with policymakers at all levels of government, including the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), to make sure we can enjoy the benefits of this new technology without jeopardizing the safety and security of the people that work at chemical facilities and their surrounding communities.

As with most new and emerging technologies, however, existing policies are not equipped to address the new and unforeseen challenges and are unable to prevent the misuse of drones for criminal and other elicit activities.
