Countries have established the Operation Clean Sweep program
Operation Clean Sweep (OCS) is an industry-led stewardship program designed to provide plastic resin handling operations with good housekeeping techniques and pellet, flake, and powder containment practices to work towards achieving zero resin loss. Administered by the American Chemistry Council (ACC) and the Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS), OCS helps companies minimize resin loss to the environment. The program promotes environmental stewardship and workplace safety through plastic resin loss prevention. It has been implemented in thousands of plants around the world, all contributing to the effort to protect and conserve the natural environment.
